Equipment

My basic brew equipment that I started with, featuring my 8 gallon boil kettle, propane burner and leg extensions. In the background in my homemade immersion chiller sitting in a bottling bucket that is filled with StarSan (you can see the copper tubing sticking out with hose extensions attached.

Mash Tun and Hot Water Tank. On the overturned lid on top of both tanks you can see the loop of piping which is drilled to allow fly-sparging. The braided hose in the bottom of the mash tun precludes the need for a false bottom. All tubing uses quick disconnects for easy removal and cleaning.

Grain mill setup. I used a small table that was just taking up space and cut a hole in the top. I removed the hand crank and added a power drill (power tools make everything better). I used an empty Mt Dew box to form a funnel through the table top, and a slide of cardboard down into a catch bucket.
